Odysseus Reveals Himself...

We are posting again, after a highly dramatic and stress-filled day. But let's start at the beginning. ..

So, after shooting the arrows perfectly, Odysseus removes his beggar robes and reveals himself to be the hunk that he is to all the men in the hall. Hastily, he fires an arrow straight toward his new target: the head of Antinuos. Then, he boldly confronts the rest of the suitors, telling him of his terms. Immediately, Eurymachus tries to talk his way out of the situation, which is becoming increasingly deadly. But Odysseus is outraged, and doesn't think twice about what he is being offered. With his son at his side, he bravely fights off all of the suitors, beginning with Eurymachus, with a little help from the goddess Athena. We are hidden in the shadows of the hall, and since we have changed back into our feminine clothes, we have no fear of being recognized or killed by Odysseus. With the end very near, we have to go, and watch our lover reclaim his place at the throne, the King of Ithaca.
